The first time it was heard about Mas Gircós was in the pre-seventeenth century and since then up until now it has been a country house devoted to grain fields which surround it and to cattle, benefiting from the commercial activity in the Medieval Village of Besalú, located just a few kilometres away.

Mas Gircós is a benchmark as a country house concerning school summer camps, weekends and holidays. It is in a privileged location ideal for families and groups of friends looking for rural tourism.

The country house holds 76 hectares and all around the house there’s a large terrace with a garden area, an old courtyard, a huge holm oak, a swimming pool, a tent and many other outdoor areas to enjoy nature.

Among the activities that Mas Gircós can organize, there are guided tours to the medieval villages in the region, tour the Volcanic Zone and La Fageda d’en Jordà (Jordà Beech forest) or also plan a trip to the forest on foot or by bike. Contact us if you want some more information.

CASA GRAN

The maximum capacity of this space is 80 guests distributed into 6 different bedrooms with bunk beds, two halls, showers and toilets.

SUITE

The Suite is located in the upper part of Casa Gran. It has a kitchen, a bedroom, a fireplace, a living room and a dining room. There is also a big terrace and a spare room with bunk beds  suitable for a large family.

VIVENDA

A hall with a sofa and a long table together with a fireplace. Next to it there are three bedrooms with bunk beds.

OTHERS AREAS

The house has a wooden hall for events, a big tent, the communal dining room and an outdoors chillout. These are some of the areas in Mas Gircós for different events, ideal for large groups.

BAOBABS

It has a capacity of 56 guests and a hall with a large table. The living-dinning room of the country house is adjacent to the Baobabs area.
